Enet is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Regulatory Analyst to support its regulatory compliance and engagement activities within Ireland’s telecommunications sector. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys understanding complex regulatory frameworks, working with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring the organisation meets its obligations while advancing its strategic interests.
The Regulatory Analyst will play a critical role in liaising with internal business units to gather, verify, and prepare data required by the telecommunications regulator, ComReg, for recurring and ad‑hoc information requests. The role also involves developing an in‑depth understanding of the rules governing Ireland’s regulated telecoms market and supporting Enet’s participation in regulatory processes.
Key Accountabilities:
Regulatory Reporting & Compliance
Collate, validate, and consolidate information from multiple business units in response to recurring and ad‑hoc ComReg requests.
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all regulatory submissions.
Maintain robust internal processes and documentation to support auditability and compliance with regulatory obligations.
Monitor regulatory deadlines, manage reporting calendars, and coordinate cross‑functional inputs.
Regulatory Analysis & Advisory
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Irish telecommunications’ regulatory environment, including rights and obligations under the existing framework.
Analyse regulatory changes, consultations, and decisions issued by ComReg, assessing potential impacts on Enet’s operations and strategic objectives.
Prepare internal summaries, guidance notes, and briefing papers for senior management and relevant departments.
Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with internal stakeholders—including commercial, operations, finance, legal, and technical teams—to gather information and align regulatory positions.
Build effective relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, industry bodies, and partners, as appropriate.
Support Enet’s participation in industry consultations, workshops, and regulatory engagements
Process & Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance regulatory reporting processes.
Contribute to the development of internal compliance tools, data collection frameworks, and best practices.
Support broader compliance and governance initiatives as required.
Required Qualifications/ Expertise:
Early-career professional with approximately 2–3 years’ experience in telecommunications, utilities, regulatory affairs, compliance, or a similar data-driven analytical environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Economics
