As the Pricing & Bid Manager, reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring a data driven approach to Enet’s pricing and bid management. In addition to supporting the commercial organization with regular pricing analysis and governance, you will be involved in creating the documentation needed to support and own the bid process, and working cross-functionally across sales, commercial, procurement & finance to produce pricing and submissions for Enet bids. You will also work closely with both finance and the sales function to ensure smooth sales sign-off processes and clear guidelines for sales and pricing governance.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive the bid process by working across multiple teams, project managing bid sign off, and gathering relevant technical data into a clear set of documentation.
Working with Enet’s sales and commercial teams to produce data driven bid pricing recommendations.
Represent bid pricing recommendations and data leveraging BI tools such as Power Bi to drive insight and clarity into the commercial landscape of a bid.
Present complex pricing recommendations, supported by highly detailed analysis, to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner to enable strategic discussion and decision making.
Drive identified bids through a formal bid governance process from sign on, pricing, and sign off. Ensuring the correct documentation is saved and archived as needed.
Lead the sales governance process on pricing, communicating and maintaining the Commercial Governance documentation for sellers and ensuring clarity on sign off requirements.
Produce Commercial analysis and reporting – presenting to senior leaders on key insights and recommendations to drive growth.
Maintain commercial margin tracking – ensuring governance processes are followed and providing transparency and accountability in sales sign off meetings.
Maintain and drive continuous improvement for the monitoring of bespoke pricing and discounting – driving governance of the same.
Work with the sellers to gather intelligence on competitor pricing & communicate relevant changes.
Through market insights and using analytics and external data, develop and maintain pricing policy across the portfolio to ensure maximum commercial return.
This individual must maintain a strong working relationship with both the Finance and the Sales Function as well as other enet stakeholders to ensure a strong governance process and data driven pricing decisions.
Key Skills/Qualifications:
5 years’ experience in Pricing and Bid Management.
Demonstrable experience of writing and managing bid and complex proposal documents.
Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and communication skills.
Experience within the Irish Telecoms market is desirable and advantageous.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
