Engineering Enablement Professional

As the Engineering Enablement Professional at Enet, you will be the key Operational Engineer / electrician in the Power team, overseeing & responding to our core mechanical and electrical infrastructure across the Enet estate. This role reports into the Facilities & Property Manager and is located in Dublin with some travel required nationwide.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly engineering operational routines across the ECL estate.

  • Manage and maintain critical infrastructure: LV boards, generators, UPS, and DC systems.

  • Supervise third-party engineering suppliers performing infrastructure activities.

  • Implement Electrical & Mechanical (M&E) and fire suppression Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and assist with fault repair callouts.

  • Handle maintenance and delivery of power/cooling changes and Incident Management processes.

  • Project manage and implement engineering projects to ensure operational readiness for new services.

  • Administer engineering platforms for recording maintenance activities and present them during ISO 14001 audits.

  • Assist in the maintenance of building upkeep (internal/external) and coordinate soft facility services with the Property Team.

  • Detect, record, investigate, diagnose, resolve and close engineering incidents during core hours and on-call rotations.

  • Adherence to relevant H&S processes and procedures during course of activities

  • Be part of out of hours on-call rota for major incidents.

  • Experience and qualifications in power equipment (e.g., LV boards, generators, UPS, DC systems).

  • Understand necessary legal and regulatory documents relevant to engineering operations and facilities.

  • Can develop and interpret engineering policies and operational strategies.

  • Conduct risk impact analysis (including brand impact, financial penalty avoidance and revenue protection).

  • Ability to manage large change initiatives/programmes across complex estates

  • Managing supplier performance from a technical/service delivery perspective, including adherence to SLAs and audit-readiness.



Key Skills / Qualifications:

  • Experience and qualifications in power equipment (e.g., LV boards, generators, UPS, DC systems).

  • Understand necessary legal and regulatory documents relevant to engineering operations and facilities.

  • Can develop and interpret engineering policies and operational strategies.

  • Conduct risk impact analysis (including brand impact, financial penalty avoidance and revenue protection).

  • Ability to manage large change initiatives/programmes across complex estates

  • Managing supplier performance from a technical/service delivery perspective, including adherence to SLAs and audit-readiness.
